6th Week of Co-op: Mixed Feelings

I don’t know how to feel. It’s the very last week of my work placement at Remix. I have had such a great time working here, and to say that I will miss this experience is an understatement. But, today beyond anything, I feel grateful for this. This has been a beautiful season of learning, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

This week, I focused a lot more on my trainings. I learned a lot about building a personal brand, and cultivating a mindset that can achieve anything. I couldn’t have picked a better time to have done these trainings, because now I’m stepping out into the world of work in Canada, and I’m building the right mindset to have; that anything is possible for me. Having worked with Remix the last six weeks, I will say that I feel a lot more confident than ever before in my abilities, and potential to succeed in marketing. This space has also afforded me the opportunity to better understand the different scopes of the marketing field, and figure out for myself which area I want to focus on. Content marketing via social media has my heart, I must say.

I will really miss the team. Each and every one of them goes above and beyond, and it challenges me – I wish I could stay a little while longer with them, as I still have so much to learn. I will miss the beautiful office space at The Sanctuary, which is second to none. Overall, I’m grateful to be taking everything I have learned with me to the next phase of my career, and I am excited for the future, the failures, and the successes alike. Big thank you to Amanda Voss for being the best person to work with for my internship!
